Our love affair with golden retrievers started in 1990 when we rescued our golden retriever Dutchess.  Her unconditional love and friendship with our children inspired us to share this love with others.  Six years later we started Chaparral Goldens.  We started small with two girls and one boy.  From there our love affair grew along with our Chaparral Goldens extended family.  

 We breed golden retrievers specifically for family companions.  Each family that adopts a puppy becomes a member of our extended family.  You may have seen our goldens at local beaches, parks, and trails throughout Southern California.  A few of our dogs have become service dogs for people in need.  Knowing that others are finding love with our puppies makes our efforts worth while.

As for our kennel, being situated on 5 acres in Newberry Springs (Mojave desert) gives plenty of room for our dogs to run and exercise.  We care and love our dogs as part of our family.  We only feed our dogs holistic dog food (Eagle Pack) and vitamin supplements (Nu Vet Vitamins).  This helps to ensure they grow up healthy.  This extra care and devotion is part of what we pass onto to you when you adopt a puppy.
